Political expert and Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko said that last year’s scenario is repeating itself and that the United States will once again put pressure on Ukraine. He also claimed that a conspiracy between Trump and Putin exists, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this in his blog.

“Is it fair to blame Ukraine and the Ukrainian president for the war? Yet Trump blames us, saying that we are the problem. Trump has decided who he will pressure, at least over the coming days and weeks. How far could this pressure go? I believe it could go further than it did last year, when an American delegation arrived, brought us an agreement, and told us to sign it. The difference between 2026 and 2025 is that US pressure on Ukraine could go even further and have even more negative consequences, especially as Russia intensifies its terrorist attacks,” Oleksandr Musiienko stated.

He noted that attack drones are now targeting western Ukraine as well, apparently aiming to cut off electricity supplies from the Rivne and Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plants to the central and eastern regions. Power and water supply disruptions have already occurred, and emergency power cuts are being imposed in Kyiv. In addition, the expert said, attacks on the economy and businesses continue.

According to Musiienko, if you listen to Trump’s interviews, Ukraine and Zelenskyy are to blame for everything, while Putin is portrayed as a strong leader with whom everything has long been settled. Dmitriev has reportedly negotiated everything with Witkoff and Kushner. In other words, the expert emphasized, Trump is blaming and pressuring the victim, even though neither Zelenskyy nor the Ukrainians being shelled by Russian forces are the real source of the problem.

“Trump wants to break us and say, ‘You have to surrender.’ That is Trump’s main message, and we need to call things what they are. You must capitulate; you must surrender to Putin. Yet there is not a word about Putin striking apartment buildings and energy infrastructure. Last night, we struck the Ryazan oil refinery and other facilities on Russian territory, and Trump calls that a disgrace. But Russian attacks on our civilian homes and energy infrastructure, which leave people without water and electricity, are apparently not a disgrace. That is supposedly fine, as if it is how things should be. This is what the same conspiracy is all about,” Oleksandr Musiienko concluded.
