Political expert and military officer Oleksandr Musienko said that our Western partners are increasingly interested in financing the production of Ukrainian weapons, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this in his blog.

According to the expert, Germany has begun to support Ukraine more actively, our state should receive 5 billion euros for the needs of the army. As for the supply of Taurus missiles, he notes, discussions are ongoing, but there are already assumptions, as Defense Express writes, about what the alternative could be - financing of Bars drone missiles, Lyuty strike missiles, etc.

“That is, the Germans are trying to buy off. They are not ready to transfer their long-range Taurus missiles, which we would really need, but they are ready to finance production here. What will be the alternative? It's interesting, we'll see. But it's good that at least it is. But it is also bad, I will say frankly, that without Taurus, because a missile is a missile, also with stealth technologies, that is, it is also less noticeable to Russian radars and less vulnerable to their air defense systems. This is incomparable. But it is good that they are financing production,” comments Oleksandr Musienko.

As Defense Minister Umerov reported, he says, military support within the framework of the Danish model will increase to 1.3 billion euros in 2025. According to him, the expert adds, the first tranche of 428 million euros from Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Norway and Iceland will be received in the near future for the production of Ukrainian weapons, namely artillery, strike drones, missiles and anti-tank weapons.

“In fact, thanks to the Danish model, the Ukrainian artillery installation “Bogdan” is produced and not only. And Sweden joins this list of countries - Canada, Norway, Denmark, Iceland - this clearly shows how the countries of the North act. Canada - of course, but there are countries of Northern Europe that, despite everything, continue to help Ukraine, directly supplying weapons, investing in weapons production here, in our country, this is very important," explains Oleksandr Musienko.
