Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko stated that it's time for Ukrainian drones to pay a visit to the Shahed drone manufacturing plant in Yelabuga, especially since the Kremlin is promoting it so heavily, according to Politeka.
He shared this in his blog.
As the expert notes, Russian propaganda channel "Zvezda" aired a report on the drone production taking place in the special economic zone "Alabuga" in the city of Yelabuga, Tatarstan. According to him, the video was extremely propagandistic and staged: it showed factory floors in operation, the assembly of Shahed drones, and a large number of people working there. Additionally, Musiienko says Russia has undertaken a major propaganda campaign to attract young people – after finishing school, teenagers go to college and then to the factory – reminiscent of the "Hitler Youth."
"Everything was shown in maximum detail. The goal is clear and obvious – to demonstrate to Ukraine and all our Western partners the enemy’s industrial capabilities, to intimidate, to show how many facilities Russia supposedly still has. And of course, it’s done to try to frighten us, to break our national resistance, and to demoralize Ukrainian society," Musiienko explains.
However, the expert points out that this showy display was not well received by everyone in Russia. Their so-called military bloggers and experts openly began to ask: "Why is this being done? What’s the point of this spectacle? Why show everything in such detail?"
"Do they really think Ukrainian forces won’t reach it? They will. In due time. Ukraine has demonstrated that it is systematically increasing its capabilities and capacity to strike targets 1,000 km, 1,500 km, 2,000 km, and even 2,500 km away," Oleksandr Musiienko concludes.
