Political expert and military serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko stated that now is not the time to focus on contradictions — Ukraine and its partners must build alliances, share technologies, and exchange experience, Politeka reports.
He shared this in his blog.

According to the expert, a former Deputy Chief of the Polish General Staff criticized the actions of Poland’s air defense system, noting that it was unprepared — not all tools were used, and not all necessary resources were in place to counter the Shahed drone attacks. As a result, Prime Minister Tusk announced that Poland will send its military personnel to learn from Ukraine’s experience in countering drones.

“And that’s absolutely the right thing to do, because the Ukrainian army is currently the only one with real experience in countering Russian air attacks using UAVs. What other army in the world is capable of this? What other army has built such a complex but effective air defense system involving army aviation, military helicopters, SAM systems, mobile Territorial Defense fire groups — with so many components working together?
We shoot down Shaheds, we shoot down Gerans, Harpies — everything that flies in from the air, land, sea, or rivers,” Musiienko emphasized.

At the same time, the expert noted that this must be a two-way street. Ukraine, he explained, is ready to share its experience with partners, ready to build alliances and seek friends, not enemies. And this, he noted, is despite the complexity of relations, the difficult historical processes, and politics — particularly the politics of historical memory, which often overrides real pragmatic concerns that should be the priority today.
The key issue, he reminded, is security — because Russia is preparing a new attack on NATO’s eastern flank.

“How should we respond to these new challenges? Ukraine is training our Polish partners, our friends in the Baltic states, and everyone who needs it — how to counter and shoot down drones. In return, we expect the West to provide active support to Ukraine,” added Oleksandr Musiienko.
