Armed Forces serviceman Myro Vanadze said that Russia has turned Georgia into one of its regions; Kremlin appointees rule there, and Georgians have been protesting against them for almost a year, Politeka reports.
He spoke about this on the program “Personality with Serhiy Doiko.”

According to the guest, many Ukrainians who are not deeply familiar with the issue think that Georgian politicians want to join Russia, but that is not the case — in reality, 89 members of the Georgian parliament are not Georgians but Russian politicians.

“Bidzina Ivanishvili (editor’s note — founder of the Georgian Dream party) is the Georgian Yanukovych. A man who was born in Georgia, grew up in Russia, made large sums of money in Russia, and once held a stake in Gazprom. He is a Kremlin appointee who takes his script from the FSB, from the Kremlin. We cannot expect any different kind of politician from Kremlin stooges,” Myro Vanadze emphasizes.

Russia, he states, has turned Georgia into one of its regions; Georgia is no different from Chechnya, Dagestan, and other puppets. In Chechnya, Vanadze says, Kadyrov has his own criminal group that robs and kills, and Tbilisi’s mayor Kaha Kaladze is no different from Kadyrov — he has the same kind of criminal group that robs the Georgian people. In other words, this man pursues Russian policy and promotes Russian influence.

“But I will say this: Kaha Kaladze, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, and all the other Putin appointees are not the face of the Georgian people. The Georgian people have been holding rallies and protests for almost a year on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi and in other major cities — Batumi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi. The Georgian people will never give up their goal — the European Union. Sooner or later we will return to Europe, and these Kremlin stooges will be punished for betraying national interests,” Myro Vanadze concludes.
