Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman stated that this year’s Munich Security Conference will be different from last year’s, as it is now widely acknowledged that the United States is openly opposing Europe.

He shared this in his blog.

According to the expert, on the eve of the Munich Security Conference, Macron openly stated in an interview that the U.S. is pursuing an anti-European policy and seeks to divide Europe, arguing that the situation with Greenland is an attempt to seize part of European territory. Ischinger, he adds, says that Europe’s fate depends on the Russian-Ukrainian war, that the U.S. will no longer help Ukraine, that all responsibility now lies with Europe, and that a new NATO must literally be created. Therefore, the expert concludes, this Munich Conference will be very interesting, because last year the conflict between the U.S. and Europe was camouflaged, whereas now it is open.

“Who will represent the United States at the Munich Conference? We don’t know. I tried to find out the conference agenda, who is speaking and when, but there isn’t one. Amazing, right? Today is February 11, and the conference opens on Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th — scary, right? I go to their website and it says: ‘The schedule will be published in February.’ And isn’t it February now?” notes Mikhail Sheitelman.

It is known, he states, that Rubio will attend, but nothing has been reported about Vance. In general, the expert remarks, Vance was at the Olympics, in Armenia and Azerbaijan, signed an $8 billion agreement for the construction of a nuclear power plant, laid flowers at the Armenian Genocide memorial — in other words, he has been roaming somewhere in Europe and may possibly surprise everyone in Munich on Friday.

“And finally, regarding preparations for the Munich Conference — a Ukrainian House will be open there from the 12th to the 14th. It seems to me it would be right if the Ukrainian House were made of ice. Why build it out of wooden boards? Will it be warm inside the Ukrainian House, with a solid roof, heating, water, and light? That’s not fair. If you’re opening a Ukrainian House in Munich, then make it like other houses in Ukraine — dark and cold — so that guests enter and are handed a headlamp and a hat. A Ukrainian House with caviar, varenyky, and borscht? No. We need a Ukrainian House that reflects Ukrainian realities,” Mikhail Sheitelman concludes.
