Artillery reconnaissance specialist Arti Green explained why the Kremlin is accusing the Baltic states of helping Ukraine carry out strikes on Russian ports, as well as Norway, claiming that supposedly our side is preparing unmanned boats there for attacks, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this on the program “Dialogues.”

According to the guest of the program, Norway is not Libya — meaning there is no “chief Berber pirate” there with whom one could negotiate and resolve the issue of unmanned boats, which is what the Kremlin is currently accusing our partners of.

“This is a failure of Russia’s air defense. And instead of admitting they failed to protect their critically important facilities… it’s easier for them to say that those ‘treacherous Poles and Balts’ let something through into our rear and launched it, than to admit that we missed it or that Ukrainians have developed capabilities that we simply cannot detect with our systems. So yes, it’s easier for them to say they were deceived. Putin has a constant fixation that ‘we were tricked, we were cheated,’” Arti Green explains.

“Yes,” the artillery reconnaissance specialist notes, “some of our aircraft did enter the airspace of the Baltic countries, but obviously this was due to technical issues or the effects of electronic warfare. However, all routes,” he emphasizes, “were laid out over Russian territory.”

“I’m not sure about Belarus — I won’t swear to it. But fighting with one hand tied behind your back is somehow unfair. If the Russian Federation uses Belarusian territory for its combat operations, and we are supposed to act like noble knights on white horses in shining armor… So I can’t vouch for Belarus, but we definitely did not route anything through the Baltic states,” Arti Green concludes.
