Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko said that Ukrainian drones have already reached Moscow, and the “Carpet” plan in airports will apparently remain in effect there all week until May 9, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this on his blog.

According to the expert, such a strike on civil aviation is also important because it causes losses. As he explains, Russia is under sanctions, repairs in the aviation sector are already makeshift, and now there are also schedule adjustments, demoralized passengers, overcrowded airports, loss of money — all of this results in serious economic damage, which works in our interests.

“A UAV hit a building in the Mosfilmovskaya district, there were no casualties, emergency services are working on site, Sobyanin says. This location is approximately 5–6 km directly from the Kremlin. Thus, we can say that our drones are reaching the Kremlin. It is clear that Putin was most likely not there. He was hidden very quickly. He probably ran to hide himself, given his characteristic timidity,” Oleksandr Musiienko notes.

The drones got through, he emphasizes, despite the fact that all air defense systems are concentrated around Moscow. According to the expert, air defense does not protect Tuapse, Perm, Primorsk, or border regions, but rather the places where Putin hides; therefore, there are 3–4 defensive layers around Moscow, St. Petersburg, and so on — and even these are being brought under fire control by the Defense Forces. We have long been waiting, he states, for a strike on Moscow; for this, the Defense Forces studied routes, conducted reconnaissance on the placement of air defense systems and radars, prepared — and now we are seeing the first result.

“I’m telling you, based on the information I have and my intuition, this will be a hellish week for Moscow; Putin should be worried. Well, it’s time to stretch anti-drone nets over Red Square. Despite the fact that there is a well-layered air defense system there, things are still getting through, which cannot but please. We are using all means to compel Russia to peace,” Oleksandr Musiienko concludes.
